- Miriam Hope (Ewart) Lindgren passed away Jan. 4, 2016, at Spirit Mountain Hospice House. She was born Dec. 11, 1928, to Frank E. and Rachel Thayer.
In 1947 Hope married Harold (Bus) Ewart. They lived on a ranch west of Burlington. While on the ranch they raised milk cows, and sold cream and eggs.
Together they raised two children Bonnie Rae (John) Nordberg and Guy (Carol) Ewart. She had three grandchildren Scott (Kendra) Nordberg, Chris (Jene) Ewart and Angie (Larry) Johnson. She was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, Carter, Kirwin and Kennedi Hope Johnson, and Cambria and Sage Ewart.
Hope was an excellent gardener, loved the outdoors and went on many horse rides. She was a very good cook and made the best fruit pies. She was a go getter and one of her favorite sayings was Jump a Running!
After Harolds death in 1984, Hope married Richard Lindgren in 1991. They spend many years together.
She is preceded in death by her parents Pop and Rachel Thayer, sister Glenrose Newell, and brother Larry Thayer, Harold Ewart and Richard Lindgren.
Hope was loved by her family and many friends; she was cherished by all and will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be held at Ballard Funeral Home for both Hope and Richard Lindgren on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Meeteetse Cemetery, with a luncheon at the Meeteetse Senior Center.
